Job summary

Piedmont Eastside is seeking an experienced RN for Progressive Care/PCU/Step Down. This part-time daytime role covers two 12-hour shifts weekly, with some weekend coverage in Snellville, GA. The unit features 24 beds and a supportive team including Patient Care Techs, RNs, and unit leadership.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients from birth through lifecycle.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care using nursing process.
• Coordinate care with ancillary and support staff.
• Identify teaching opportunities and provide resources to patients.
• Communicate issues to Charge Nurse/Clinical Manager/physician as appropriate.
• Document care and concerns in patient records.
• Lead and supervise staff on the unit to ensure quality care.
• Participate in maintaining standards of practice and accountability.
• Demonstrate professional growth and adherence to policies.
