Job summary

Piedmont Eastside is seeking an RN for Progressive Care/PCU/Step Down in Snellville, GA. This part-time role features 2 x 12 hour day shifts per week with some weekends, supporting a 24-bed PCU/Stepdown unit. The successful candidate will provide evidence-based nursing care and collaborate with a dedicated team in a high-acuity setting.

Graduate nurses welcome; Georgia RN license and BLS are required. BSN preferred; one year hospital experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program.
• Current Georgia RN license (or multi-state).
• BSN preferred; advanced certification in specialty optional.
• New graduates eligible.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and data collection on physical and psychosocial health, and history.
• Evaluate developmental age and tailor patient education accordingly.
• Organize data into a care plan and identify expected outcomes.
• Carry out the care plan to achieve desired patient outcomes.
• Document care and coordinate with care team and physicians.
