Job summary

Huntsville Hospital is seeking an RN to identify patient needs and priorities for care, plan and delegate care, and evaluate responses to care. The RN remains accountable for patient outcomes during the assigned shift.

Qualifications include nursing licensure in Alabama or multi-state, and certification requirements (BLS and ACLS timing). The hospital emphasizes strong benefits and professional development opportunities.

• Graduate of state board School of Nursing with current Alabama or multi-state licensure.
• BLS certification required before orientation completion.
• ACLS certification within one year of hire.

The RN evaluates the patient's response to care and the attainment of or progress toward expected outcomes. The RN is accountable for outcomes of patient care delivered during the assigned shift.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of state board School of Nursing with current Alabama or multi-state licensure
• Experience: Experience preferred; new graduates accepted.
• Additional Skill/Abilities: BLS required before the conclusion of the orientation period. ACLS within one year of hire.
