Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking an experienced Nurse Educator to develop and implement education programs across home health and hospice services in New Jersey. You will plan, organize, and evaluate training initiatives, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards and quality improvement goals.

Responsibilities include creating an education calendar, delivering staff development sessions, mentoring clinicians, and overseeing orientation and EMR training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required in healthcare or related field.
• Three years of healthcare experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and training platforms.
• Masters degree preferred in nursing, education, or quality improvement.

Responsibilities

• Provide education and focused training for the organization.
• Plan, organize, implement and evaluate educational programs and/or training programs.
• Assist with quality improvement and regulatory compliance initiatives.
• Develop and oversee Education Calendar; ensure NJDOH and TJC requirements.
• Serve as a clinical resource for staff in patient care.
• Lead orientation, mentor, and preceptor programs.
• Educate on infection control; perform data surveillance.
