Job summary

Qualifications

• Current and valid New Jersey Registered Nurse license.
• Active American Heart Association BLS/CPR certification.
• BSN strongly preferred or must obtain within 3 years.
• Six months of nursing experience or active Hackensack Meridian Health Nurse Residency Program participation.
• Ability to learn quickly, adapt to changing patient needs, strong teamwork, and commitment to high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of nursing care per evidence-based practices and standards of care for diverse patients.
• Ongoing communication with patients, families, and health care team regarding status and plan of care.
• Ensure optimal patient satisfaction and care experience per standards.
• Administer medications safely using clinical documentation tools.
• Provide patient- and family-centered care to optimize health and disease management.
• Collaborate across disciplines from admission to discharge to support safe transitions.
