Signature HealthCARE in Monroe County is seeking a Staff Development Coordinator (RN) to design and deliver training for nursing staff, ensuring compliance with regulations and resident quality of life. You will regularly assess CNA skill competency, provide 1:1 coaching, and train new staff in deficient areas before patient contact.

This on-site role requires an RN license, minimum 3 years clinical experience, and CPR certification; benefits include comprehensive health coverage and tuition

Qualifications

• RN licensure in good standing.
• Minimum three (3) years of clinical experience in a health care setting; long-term care preferred.
• Must have current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement job skills training, in-service education as required by regulations and employee health monitoring for nursing department staff.
• Regularly check CNA competency, resident interaction, and developmental needs; provide 1:1 instruction when needed.
• Provide skill training to new staff in deficient areas before allowing nursing assistants to work with residents.
