Job summary

Signature HealthCARE in Monroe County is seeking a Staff Development Coordinator (RN) to lead nursing staff training, from new-hire orientation to ongoing in-service education, ensuring regulatory compliance and high-quality resident care.

You will regularly assess CNA competency, provide targeted 1:1 coaching, and coordinate skill-building for new hires to maintain safety and care standards across shifts.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with required current state licensure.
• Minimum three (3) years of clinical experience in a health care setting.
• Current CPR certification.
• Knowledgeable of nursing practices and regulations related to long-term care.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement job skills training and in-service education for nursing staff.
• Regularly assess CNA competency and resident care quality; provide 1:1 instruction when needed.
• Provide skill training to new staff in any deficient area before task performance with a resident.
