Job summary

Arbors Management, Inc. is seeking a Staff Development Coordinator Registered Nurse (SDCRN) for Arbors at Carroll in Carroll, OH.

You will design, implement, and coordinate the center's Staff Development Program, performing clinical tasks and supporting other departments. You will ensure training complies with state, federal and accreditation requirements, coordinate orientation for new and contract staff, and work with the DNS to validate nursing staff competency.

Qualifications

• RN licensed with an active state license.
• BSN preferred; graduate of accredited nursing program.
• Valid CPR teaching certificate, if applicable.
• Three years of nursing experience, with at least one year in long-term care.
• One year of experience as an instructor preferred.
• Current continuing education (CE) requirements compliance.

Responsibilities

• Develops and coordinates the center Staff Development Program.
• Ensures training documentation complies with state, federal and accreditation requirements.
• Plans orientation for new and contract staff.
• Monitors staff competency and performance; takes necessary action for compliance issues.
• Oversees Employee Health program and conducts CPR training.
