Job summary

Timbers of Jasper is seeking a Staff Development Coordinator (RN) to lead education, training, and clinical observations for nursing staff. You will conduct skills competency assessments and quality assurance audits as directed by the Director of Nursing Services.

You will also assist with hiring of new staff and champion recognition and retention initiatives, acting as an advocate for growth and development within the organization.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Indiana RN license or ability to obtain an Indiana license.
• Demonstrates CARE values to residents, family members, customers and staff: Compassion, Accountability, Relationships and Excellence.

Responsibilities

• Conduct education, skills competencies, training, clinical observations, and quality assurance audits as directed by the Director of Nursing Services.
• Assist with new employee hiring and orientation.
• Engage staff to champion recognition and retention programs while supporting growth and development within the company.
