Job summary

Life Care Centers of America is seeking a RN Staff Development Coordinator to plan, organize, develop, and direct all in-service education in accordance with laws, regulations, and Life Care standards. The role emphasizes training nursing associates and other staff, maintaining records, and ensuring high standards of patient care and safety.

The position requires an active RN license, a nursing diploma (ADN/BSN), and CPR certification, with preferred experience in skilled nursing and teaching.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active RN license in good standing.
• Nursing diploma required (ADN/BSN).
• One year skilled nursing experience preferred.
• Teaching/education experience preferred.
• CPR certification required or obtained during orientation.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, direct, and coordinate staff training, in-service, and orientation.
• Maintain associate training and in-service records.
• Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients.
• Assist in the evacuation of patients.
• Concentrate and use reasoning skills and good judgment.
• Communicate and function on an interdisciplinary team.
