Job summary

Life Care Centers of America is seeking an RN Staff Development Coordinator to plan, organize, develop, and direct all in-service education in line with laws, regulations, and Life Care’s standards.

The role requires an RN license in good standing, a nursing degree (AA/BSN), and preferred teaching/education experience with CPR certification on hire or during orientation. Nurses with skilled nursing and education background are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree (AA or BSN).
• Currently licensed/registered as RN in the applicable State and maintain an active RN license.
• One year of skilled nursing experience preferred.
• Teaching/education experience preferred.
• CPR certification on hire or during orientation and kept current.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, direct, conduct, evaluate, and coordinate staff training, education, inservice, and orientation.
• Maintain associate training and inservice records.
• Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients.
• Assist in evacuation of patients.
• Maintain dependable attendance and apply sound judgment.
• Communicate effectively on an interdisciplinary team.
