Job summary

The Life Care Center of Sullivan is seeking a Staff Development Coordinator (RN). This role plans, develops, and directs in-service education for nursing and other staff, ensuring compliance with laws and Life Care standards. It requires an active RN license and strong training skills.

Responsibilities include maintaining training records, coordinating orientation, and delivering education to improve patient care and safety. The position is full-time, day shift, on-site at Sullivan, Missouri.

Qualifications

• RN license must be active and in good standing.
• Nursing diploma (associate's or bachelor's) required.
• Teaching/education experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, direct, conduct, evaluate, and coordinate staff training and orientation.
• Maintain associate training and in-service records.
• Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude toward patients.
• Assist in the evacuation of patients and maintain safety standards.
• Communicate effectively within an interdisciplinary team.
