Join Southampton Rehabilitation as a Staff Development Coordinator (SDC). You will lead educational initiatives, support clinical staff development, and ensure regulatory compliance through ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, active, and unencumbered RN license in the state of VA.
• Prior experience in an educational leadership role within healthcare preferred.
• Strong ability to build relationships and gain support from staff.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills are required.
• Knowledge of long-term care regulations and staff competency requirements.
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure appropriate staffing levels and nursing care.
• Develop and coordinate education and training programs.
• Conduct employee orientation and ongoing education.
• Maintain accurate education records and documentation.
• Support overall workflow and resident care units.
• Collaborate with leadership to identify educational needs.
• Monitor compliance with training requirements.
• Support quality improvement initiatives through coaching.
