Topaz Fiscal Services seeks an RN Staff Development Coordinator to plan, organize, develop, and direct all in‑service education in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards. The ideal candidate will hold a nursing diploma (AAS or BSN), an active RN license, and ideally one year of geriatric nursing and teaching experience.

CPR certification is required or obtained during orientation.

Formación

• Must possess a nursing diploma (associates or bachelors).
• Must hold an active RN license in good standing.
• One year geriatric nursing experience preferred.
• Teaching/education experience preferred.
• CPR certification upon hire or during orientation; must remain current.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, develop, direct, conduct, evaluate, and coordinate staff training, education, in service, and orientation.
• Maintain associate training and in service records.
• Must be able to perform functions of a staff nurse as required.
• Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients.
• Assist in the evacuation of patients.
• Maintain dependable, regular attendance.
• Communicate effectively on an interdisciplinary team.
• Read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Follow company policies including harassment and compliance procedures.
