Job summary

Civita Care Center at Milford is seeking a Staff Development Coordinator / RN to provide education, training, consultative and support services to the management team, staff and patients. • Ability to assess learning needs and develop educational offerings.
• Collaborates with Nursing Leadership Team to determine educational needs.

Responsibilities

• Determines learning needs of staff to maintain or improve competency.
• Conducts competency assessments with staff and nursing leadership.
• Utilizes data to develop educational offerings.
• Collaborates with nursing leadership to determine unit-specific educational needs.
• Assists in growth and development of staff.
• Plans comprehensive orientation for orientees.
