Job summary

Palm Springs Post Acute is seeking a Staff Development Coordinator (SDC) to lead educational initiatives, support clinical staff development, and promote regulatory compliance through ongoing training and competency programs. This full-time role operates Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM, in Massachusetts (MA).

Qualifications

• RN license in MA required and active.
• Experience in staff development or related educational leadership role preferred.
• Ability to develop, coordinate, and deliver education and training programs.
• Strong communication, organization, and presentation skills.
• Knowledge of long-term care regulations and staff competency requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop, coordinate, and provide education and training programs for staff.
• Conduct orientation and ongoing in-service education to ensure policy and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain education records, competency validations, and documentation.
• Assist with admissions and support nursing department workflow.
• Collaborate with nursing leadership to identify educational needs and promote staff development.
• Monitor mandatory training compliance and clinical competencies.
• Support quality improvement initiatives through education and coaching.
