UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas is seeking a registered nurse to provide nursing services under supervision in patient care and treatment. The role involves comprehensive assessments, care planning, coordination with the health team, and patient education during shifts.

Qualificações

• Graduate of an approved/accredited nursing program (Texas BON 217.1).
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification by AHA or ARC.
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification by AHA or ARC.
• BSN preferred.
• 1 year experience in acute care setting (preferred).
• NLC nursing licensure with Texas or compact state and professional certification.

Responsabilidades

• Performs and documents physical, psychosocial, and emotional assessments across patient ages.
• Develops care plans using assessment data and collaborates with the health care team.
• Coordinates with interdisciplinary team and communicates patient needs and care plans.
• Prioritizes nursing interventions and documents changes in condition and plan of care.
• Ensures adherence to hospital and nursing policies and standards of practice.
• Provides patient and family education and discharge planning.
• Welcomes and orients patients and families, sets goals, and explains procedures and medications.
• Participates in quality improvement and safety initiatives and team meetings.

Formação académica

BSN

Graduate of an approved nursing program

Nursing Licensure Compact (NLC) license (Texas or compact state)

Texas state nursing license

Professional certification in nursing
