Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved/accredited nursing program.
• RN license (NLC) required upon hire.
• ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, CPI, TNCC, PALS, NRP certifications required.
• Pediatric/obstetric competencies per unit expectations.

Responsibilities

• Performs and documents physical, psychosocial, and emotional assessments for patients of all ages.
• Anticipates patient and family needs and develops an appropriate plan of care.
• Interdisciplinary coordination and communication to ensure optimal patient care.
• Prioritizes and adjusts care based on patient condition changes and lab results.
• Adheres to hospital policies and nursing standards; maintains patient safety and quality care.
