Job summary
Avamere is seeking a Full-Time Registered Nurse (RN) to provide comprehensive patient care at The Pearl at Kruse Way in Lake Oswego. This 12-hour day shift (6:00 AM–6:00 PM) covers Thursday, Saturday and Sunday and requires active Oregon RN licensure and CPR/BLS.
You will assess residents, administer medications, monitor health, document in EMR, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team. Supervisory responsibilities include guiding LPNs and CNAs while participating in quality improvement
Qualifications
- Nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
- Current, active RN license in Oregon; BSN preferred.
- CPR/BLS certification current throughout employment.
- Experience in long-term care, geriatric rehab, sub-acute, or critical care settings.
Responsibilities
- Assess residents and develop individualized care plans with the interdisciplinary team.
- Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
- Document vital signs, health status, and interventions in the EMR.
- Supervise LPNs and CNAs and provide orientation and training.
- Coordinate care with physicians, therapists, and other professionals.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and stay current with best practices.
