Job summary

MyMichigan Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct patient care, triage and monitor acutely ill and non-acute patients, and support discharge planning. The role requires strong assessment skills, collaboration with the care team and the ability to act independently in urgent situations.

Qualifications include an Associate degree in nursing, with a preferred Bachelor's degree. ACLS, BLS, TNCC, PALS, and ENPC certifications are required or pursued within timelines.

Qualifications

• Nurse must be a registered RN in good standing.
• 2+ years’ experience in a hospital/acute care setting preferred.
• Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to perform multiple procedures with nursing skills.
• Ability to work in high-stress environments and coordinate with care teams.

Responsibilities

• Performs nursing assessments, intervenes promptly and participates in care planning.
• Regularly assesses patient needs and delivers skilled nursing services as prescribed by physician plan of care.
• Processes physician orders accurately and follows up on medication changes.
• Evaluates treatment effectiveness and suggests plan adjustments.
• Updates and revises treatment plans with the care team at appropriate intervals.
• Maintains safe patient environment and documents interventions and responses.
