Job summary

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of RN experience, an active Arizona nursing license (or compact state license with 30 days to obtain Arizona licensure), and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Experience: One (1) year as an RN.
• Licensure/Certifications: Valid current Arizona Nursing License or compact state license and ability to become Arizona Licensed in 30 days.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) American Heart Association and others as required by individual department.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization.
• Implements and monitors patient care plans. Monitors, records and communicates patient condition as appropriate.
• Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders.
• Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
• Documentation of care and monitoring as part of the patient record.
