Job summary

Carondelet St. Josephs Hospital in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct care and coordinate multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

You’ll implement care plans, monitor patient progress, and educate patients and families as needed. Eligible applicants hold an Arizona RN license (or compact license with ability to obtain AZ licensure within 30 days), BLS, and prefer BSN with ACLS/PALS.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.
• One year of RN experience.
• Arizona nursing license or compact state license and ability to become Arizona licensed in 30 days.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Implements and monitors patient care plans and communicates patient condition.
• Serves as primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders.
• Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with the healthcare team.
• Documentation of care and patient/family education.
• Ensures patient safety and medication administration.
