Qualifikationen

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.
• One year of experience as an RN.
• Valid current Arizona Nursing License or compact state license and ability to become Arizona Licensed in 30 days.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• American Heart Association requirements as applicable by department.

Aufgaben

• Provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols.
• Implements and monitors patient care plans; monitors, records and communicates patient condition.
• Acts as primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders.
• Assesses and coordinates discharge planning needs with the healthcare team.
• Performs assessments (initial, re-assessment, focused) considering physiologic, psychosocial, economic and lifestyle factors.
• Plans and outcomes: sets measurable goals with patient/family and documents in the care plan.
• Implements care, ensures patient safety, administers medications, educates patient/family, and documents care.
• Evaluates patient status and adjusts care plan to optimize outcomes.
