Job summary

Carondelet St. Josephs Hospital in Tucson seeks a Registered Nurse to deliver direct patient care and coordinate multi-disciplinary treatment in a fast-paced hospital setting.

You will work within established policies, develop and monitor care plans, and support discharge planning while ensuring patient safety and education. A valid Arizona RN license, BLS, and 1 year of experience are required; ACLS/PALS preferred, with opportunities for professional growth and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Continuing education requirements as defined within the CARE program.
• One (1) year as an RN.
• Valid current Arizona Nursing License or compact state license and ability to become Arizona Licensed in 30 days.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care following established policies and protocols.
• Coordinate care with multidisciplinary team for well-organized patient treatment.
• Execute physician and nursing orders and document care actions.
• Assess discharge planning needs with the healthcare team.
• Perform initial, re-assessment, and focused assessments based on patient condition and setting.
• Develop and implement care plans with measurable goals and outcomes.
• Ensure safe medication administration and patient/family education.
• Monitor and evaluate patient status to adjust the care plan as needed.
