Job summary

PACS Group is seeking a Registered Nurse supervisor in Menlo Park, CA to oversee daily nursing activities and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local standards. The role involves coordinating with the DON/ADON, maintaining care plans, and guiding the nursing staff to deliver high-quality resident care.

The position requires leadership of the nursing service department, adherence to policies, and active involvement in quality assurance and discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Nursing Degree and current active RN license.
• Experience in rehabilitative and restorative nursing preferred.
• Ability to lead nursing staff and coordinate care plans.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day nursing activities during the tour of duty.
• Coordinate with DON/ADON and ensure compliance with federal, state and local standards.
• Direct the nursing service department and ensure policies and procedures are followed.
• Prepare reports and recommendations to the Director of Nursing as needed.
• Participate in the facility's quality assurance and discharge planning processes.
• Oversee staffing, assignments, and performance evaluations for nursing staff.
• Maintain a safe and compliant environment for residents and staff.
