Job summary

Baptist Health System in San Antonio is seeking an RN Shift Supervisor to lead clinical teams on a shift, coordinate patient care, admissions, discharges and transfers, and prepare staffing for the next shift. The role serves as a clinical and leadership resource with supervisory input into staff evaluations and performance reviews, ensuring quality care and regulatory compliance.

The RN must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program with TX RN license and BLS; ACLS/other certifications as

Qualifications

• RN licensed in Texas (required)
• Graduate of accredited school of nursing
• ACLS/PALS/NRP or other certifications as department requires

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise patient care on shift
• Act as unit patient flow coordinator for admissions, discharges, transfers
• Plan unit staffing for next shift with leadership
• Support staff performance evaluations and feedback
• Ensure regulatory compliance and quality of care
