Job summary

Copper Ridge Care Center is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to supervise daily nursing activities across day and night shifts within a 3-month rotation. You will ensure care quality aligns with federal, state, and local standards under the DON/ADON oversight.

The role emphasizes supervision of nursing staff, policy implementation, and participation in care planning, QA activities, and facility surveys to maintain high-quality resident care.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university.
• Must have training in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices.
• Must have a current, unencumbered RN license in this state and CPR certification.
• Must be able to read, write, speak English fluently.
• Must have patience, tact, and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Inform nursing staff of new admissions and room assignments.
• Greet residents and escort to rooms; assist physicians as needed.
• Maintain and implement care plans; monitor resident status daily.
• Ensure medication administration follows policy; supervise shifts.
• Participate in safety, infection control, and emergency drills.
