Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking an RN Shift Lead I for the Montana bedside team. This part-time, day-shift role provides leadership and clinical expertise, coordinating resources to match census and acuity while supporting staff and maintaining professional standards.

You will supervise direct care, respond to emergencies, and work with the staffing office to adjust numbers as census changes. The role may involve floating within scope and on-call duties as needed.

Qualifications

• BSN required within 4 years unless 15 years acute care experience.
• Active Montana RN license and BLS upon hire.
• Ability to lead and coordinate nursing staff on a shift.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and/or provides direct patient care on their shift.
• Respond to patient emergencies as charge/lead for disasters.
• Collaborates with staffing to adjust numbers per census.
• Communicates census, admissions, discharges to oncoming nurse.
• Supports unit management in productivity and timekeeping.
