Covenant Living Communities and Services is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse to deliver quality care in assisted living, skilled nursing and memory care settings. The RN will assess residents, monitor staff performance, and coordinate with physicians under state and federal regulations.

The ideal candidate is a graduate of an approved nursing program, holds an RN license, and has at least one year of nursing experience. Strong communication and compassion for seniors are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Current license as a Registered Nurse in the State.
• One year nursing experience.
• Devotion to standards and principles of professional nursing.
• Skill in assessing problems, planning and evaluating solutions for staff and resident needs.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
• Genuine compassion for senior adults and the disabled.
• Willingness to work beyond normal hours and on weekends/holidays.

Responsabilités

• Provide routine daily direction and monitor the work of LPNs and nursing assistants on the unit.
• Assist in orientation and training of new nursing staff.
• Motivate LPNs and CNAs on the unit to maintain high quality care.
• Explain nursing procedures and assist staff to ensure understanding.
• Communicate with Director of Nursing about assessments and concerns.
• Observe residents and report changes to staff and physicians as needed.
