Job summary

Covenant Living Communities and Services is seeking a Registered Nurse for part-time shifts in our assisted living, skilled nursing and memory care units in Illinois. You will supervise LPNs and CNAs, coordinate care with physicians, and provide direct resident nursing care per state standards.

The ideal candidate has an approved nursing degree, an active RN license in the state, and at least one year of nursing experience, with strong communication and compassion for seniors.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Current license as a Registered Nurse in the State.
• One year nursing experience required.
• Demonstrates compassion for senior adults and the disabled.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).

Responsibilities

• Provide daily direction and monitor LPNs and nursing assistants on the unit.
• Assist in orientation and reinforce training standards.
• Motivate LPNs and CNAs on the unit.
• Explain nursing procedures and train staff as needed.
• Communicate with the Director of Nursing on assessments and concerns.
• Observe residents’ health and notify physician/family as required.
