Job summary

Senior Community Care of North Carolina PACE, a program of Volunteers of America National Services, seeks an on-site Registered Nurse in Durham, NC. This paid role supports residents with daily activities, care plans, and compassionate, person-centered care for 8a-4:30p M-F. Pay range is $39.00-$50.50 per hour, with VOANS values and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse licensure in NC.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to follow care plans and resident orders.
• Long-term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, hands-on care to residents, including activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
• Support residents’ physical and emotional well-being by building meaningful connections and delivering compassionate, person-centered care.
• Monitor and report changes in residents’ condition to the nursing team to ensure timely and appropriate care.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment while following all care plans, safety protocols, and infection control standards.
