Job summary

Senior Community Care of North Carolina PACE in Durham, NC is seeking a Driver - Full Time to support residents with daily living activities and transport needs. You will provide direct care, assist with mobility, and work within a compassionate, team-oriented healthcare setting.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license in North Carolina, and at least one year of experience with frail and elderly individuals.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid Driver's License in state of hire.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Minimum of one year experience in working with the frail and elderly population.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct, hands-on care to residents, including assistance with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
  • Support residents' physical and emotional well-being by building meaningful connections and delivering compassionate, person-centered care.
  • Monitor and report changes in residents' condition to the nursing team to ensure timely and appropriate care.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment while following all care plans, safety protocols, and infection control standards.

Pay Range: $19.25 - $23.45
