Job summary

Senior Community Care of North Carolina PACE in Durham, NC is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct, hands-on care to residents within a compassionate, resident-centered setting.

You will follow individualized care plans, monitor health changes, and collaborate with the nursing team while upholding infection control standards and a safe environment. This opportunity offers growth and meaningful, purpose-driven work with VOANS.

Qualifications

  • Current Registered Nurse licensure in NC.
  • Current CPR Certification.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to follow care plans and resident orders.
  • Long-term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct, hands-on care to residents, including assistance with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
  • Support residents’ physical and emotional well-being by building meaningful connections and delivering compassionate, person-centered care.
  • Monitor and report changes in residents’ condition to the nursing team to ensure timely and appropriate care.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment while following all care plans, safety protocols, and infection control standards.

Pay Range: $39.00-$50.50

Schedule: M-F 8a-4:30p

What You Bring (Requirements)
