Job summary

Good Samaritan Woodland in Brainerd, MN is seeking an RN to deliver individualized nursing care for residents. You will collaborate with families and an inter-disciplinary team to plan and evaluate care, following the nursing process across all phases of preventative and therapeutic care.

The role may involve charge nurse duties and delegation of tasks to licensed and unlicensed staff, with emphasis on safe, quality care and adherence to professional standards and ethics.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred (CCNE, ACEN, NLN CNEA).
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license in the practice state or multi-state license.
• Maintains required department competencies and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care to residents using the nursing process.
• Coordinate care with residents, families and inter-disciplinary teams.
• Demonstrate competency in nursing practice and supervise delegated tasks when appropriate.
