Job summary

Allina Health is seeking an RN for the SCU and Intermediate Care unit at Mercy Hospital Unity Campus in Fridley, MN. The role is part-time, offers 12-hour night shifts, 30 hours per week, with Every 3rd weekend rotation and union contract (MNA-Unity RN).

You will join an interdisciplinary team delivering high-quality patient care across diverse populations. Required: Associate's or Vocational RN degree, MN RN license (or WI equivalent), 0–2 years RN experience; ACLS/ALS or Allina ACLS training

Qualifications

• Requires Associate's or Vocational degree.
• 0 to 2 years RN experience (new grads considered).
• Bachelor's degree (preferred).
• Licensed Registered Nurse – MN Board of Nursing required (in MN) or WI DPS required (if WI).
• ACLS/ALS or Allina in-house ACLS training within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Comprehensive assessment of patient and family needs; establish outcomes and plan of care.
• Coordinate, supervise and modify care; ensure safe, effective nursing practice.
• Provide care in Special Care Units and Intermediate Care areas; collaborate with interdisciplinary team.
• Perform supplemental roles as Charge Nurse or Preceptor as needed.
• Adhere to organizational requirements and maintain competencies.
