Job summary

Allina Health is seeking an RN for the Med/Surg Float Pool. This 0.75 FTE role features 12-hour night shifts in Shakopee, MN, with every 3rd weekend. You will provide nursing care across units, assess patient needs, and coordinate care with families and the care team.

Minimum qualifications include an Associate's or Vocational degree and MN or WI RN licensure on hire. BLS required; ACLS/ALS and CMSRN and a Bachelor's degree are preferred or site-dependent.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Vocational degree required.
• RN licensure in MN or WI upon hire depending on location.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/Red Cross) or in-house training within 30 days.
• ACLS/ALS certifications may be required depending on site.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat patient health needs and coordinate care.
• Provide nursing care across Med/Surg departments per experience and competencies.
• Collaborate with family and team to achieve measurable outcomes.
• Supervise and delegate within the unit and participate in charge/preceptor roles as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
