Job summary

Qualifications

• RN licensure in IA or compact state required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Iowa Dependent Adult Abuse & Iowa Child Abuse Mandatory Reporter training required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the progress note for the patient visit using provider-built EPIC documentation tools.
• Take histories, review of systems, physical exam, and plan; verify health maintenance and immunizations.
• Order/administer injections and collect lab specimens per standing orders; perform phlebotomy as needed.
• Provide patient education using pre-approved materials and discharge instructions.
• Print after-visit summaries and manage discharge, follow-up scheduling, and referrals.
