Qualifications

• RN licensure required in the state of Iowa or a compact state.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Experience in a medical office setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare progress notes using EPIC documentation for HPI, ROS, exam, and plan.
• Ensure health maintenance and immunizations are up to date.
• Room and prepare patient for examination and take vitals.
• Order/administer injections and collect specimens per standing orders.
• Document encounter thoroughly across relevant sections.
• Provide patient education with approved materials.
• Print after-visit summaries and discharge patients from the room.
• Manage phone calls regarding test results and provide treatment guidance.
• Assist with diagnostic procedures and treatments as directed.
