Job summary

Ro Health is actively hiring qualified RNs to join our team and support public schools around Durham and Wake County. Positions include full-time and PRN with a Monday–Friday day schedule, no nights or holidays.

Start date ASAP and a comprehensive benefits package is provided. Responsibilities include care in the school health office, medication administration, and 1:1 student support for those with G-tubes, trachs, diabetes, or seizures.

Qualifications

• Active North Carolina RN Nursing License (Compact License Accepted)
• Experience with pediatric or school health care is a plus

Responsibilities

• Work in the health office with patients including those with G-tubes, trachs, catheters, diabetes or seizures
• Distribute medications to students with a med pass
• Provide 1:1 care in school settings for students with special needs
• Assist with ADLs, lifting, transporting, and diapering as needed
• Ensure documentation and record-keeping requirements are met
• Support safe school environments and provide coverage during busing as needed

Position Details:

• Specialty: School Health, Pediatrics, Special Education
• Locations available include: Durham & Wake County
• Positions Available: Full Time, PRN
• Shift: Varies, anywhere between 7 AM - 3/4 PM
• Days: Monday through Friday, no holidays, weekends, or nights
• Target Start Date: ASAP

Responsibilities may include:

• Working in the health office with patients that have one or more of the following (G-tube, trach, catheter, diabeties, seizures)
• Distributing medication to students with a med pass
• Working 1:1 with a patient directly in the school with one or more of the following conditions (G-tube, NG Tube, trach, catheter, diabetes, seizures, Cerebral Palsy)
• Provide client care according to the approved Plan of Care
• Assist in providing a safe environment for the client
• Comply with all documentation and record-keeping requirements
• Assist with lifting, transporting, and diapering as needed
• Assist with ADLs as needed
• Providing coverage during busing as needed

Requirements:

• Active, North Carolina RN Nursing License (Compact License Accepted)
• Passion for excellent pediatric patient care!
