Job summary

San Jacinto Valley Post Acute in Hemet, CA is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time role with a 4/2 rotation. The RN will supervise LVNs and CNAs, provide direct nursing care, administer medications, prepare IV therapy, draw blood, and follow physician orders.

You will monitor residents, communicate changes to physicians and the care team, and keep families informed about care and condition updates.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required in California
• Experience supervising LVNs and CNAs preferred
• Ability to administer medications and perform IV therapy as ordered

Responsibilities

• Oversee LVNs and CNAs; supervise nursing care
• Administer medications and follow physician orders
• Prepare and manage IV therapy; draw blood; administer injections
• Monitor residents and use clinical judgment for optimal care
• Communicate changes in residents’ conditions to physicians and interdisciplinary team
• Admit and discharge residents as needed
• Inform families about care and condition updates
