Ro Health is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team at a correctional facility in Tierra Amarilla, NM. The role involves direct patient care, assessments, and treatment within a secure environment.

You will collaborate with physicians, document outcomes, educate patients on health and prevention, and ensure compliance with facility policies. Weekend and 12‑hour shifts are required, with travel pay considerations for travelers.

Qualifications

• Active New Mexico RN license (or compact) in good standing.
• BLS Certification from the American Heart Association.
• Ability to pass a strict background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care, including assessments, medication administration, and treatments.
• Monitor and document patients' health status and respond to medical emergencies.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Educate patients on health conditions, medication adherence, and preventive care.
• Assist with wound care, IV therapy, and chronic disease management.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies, safety protocols, and infection control standards.
• Supervise and support LVNs, CNAs, and other healthcare staff.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in accordance with facility guidelines.

Ro Health is looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team at a correctional facility in Tierra Amarilla!

This position plays a vital role in providing essential healthcare services to incarcerated individuals, ensuring a safe, hygienic, and therapeutic environment within the facility.

Details:

• Location: Tierra Amarilla, NM
• Schedule: at least 3 days/week, 12-hour shifts
• Must be available on weekends
• Employment Type: Contract
• Pay: higher pay for travelers who are 50 or more miles away from the facility!
