Job summary

Ro Health is a rapidly growing healthcare staffing agency seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at a correctional facility in Silver City, NM. The role focuses on direct patient care, assessments, medications, and treatments within a secure environment.

This contract position offers a 12-hour night shift with a 3-day workweek (Friday–Sunday). Travelers receive higher pay for commutes of 50+ miles, and the role includes competitive benefits and on-call support to ensure

Qualifications

• Active New Mexico RN license (in good standing) or compact license.
• BLS Certification from American Heart Association.
• Ability to pass a strict background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care, including assessments, medication administration, and treatments.
• Monitor and document patients’ health status and respond to medical emergencies.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Educate patients on health conditions, medication adherence, and preventive care.
• Assist with wound care, IV therapy, and chronic disease management.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies, safety protocols, and infection control standards.
• Supervise and support LVNs, CNAs, and other healthcare staff.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in accordance with facility guidelines.

Ro Health is looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team at a correctional facility in Silver City!

This position plays a vital role in providing essential healthcare services to incarcerated individuals, ensuring a safe, hygienic, and therapeutic environment within the facility.

Details:

• Location: Silver City, NM
• Schedule: 3 days/week, 12-hour shifts, Friday-Sunday

• Pay: higher pay for travelers who are 50 or more miles away from the facility!
