Ro Health is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team at a correctional facility in Lordsburg, NM. This role delivers essential medical care to incarcerated individuals in a safe, hygienic environment.

Schedule: at least 3 days/week, 12-hour shifts; weekend availability is highly preferred. This is a contract position with higher pay for travelers 50+ miles away.

Qualifications

• Active NM RN license (or compact) in good standing
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Ability to pass a strict background check

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care, including assessments, medication administration, and treatments
• Monitor and document patients’ health status and respond to medical emergencies
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to develop and implement treatment plans
• Educate patients on health conditions, medication adherence, and preventive care
• Assist with wound care, IV therapy, and chronic disease management
• Ensure compliance with facility policies, safety protocols, and infection control standards
• Supervise and support LVNs, CNAs, and other healthcare staff
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in accordance with facility guidelines
