Job summary

Ro Health is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for a correctional facility in Clovis, NM. The role focuses on direct nursing care, assessments, medications, and treatment plans within a secure environment.

The position requires an active NM RN license (or compact license) and BLS certification, with strict background check clearance. Schedule includes at least 3 days/week of 12-hour shifts; weekend availability preferred.

Qualifications

• Active New Mexico RN license in good standing or compact license.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Ability to pass a strict background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care, including assessments, medication administration, and treatments.
• Monitor and document patients’ health status and respond to medical emergencies.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Educate patients on health conditions, medication adherence, and preventive care.
• Assist with wound care, IV therapy, and chronic disease management.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies, safety protocols, and infection control standards.
• Supervise and support LVNs, CNAs, and other healthcare staff.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in accordance with facility guidelines.

Education

Ro Health is looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team at a correctional facility in Clovis, NM!

This position plays a vital role in providing essential healthcare services to incarcerated individuals, ensuring a safe, hygienic, and therapeutic environment within the facility.

Details:

• Location: Clovis, NM


• Schedule: at least 3 days/week, 12-hour shifts


• Weekend availability highly preferred


• Employment Type: Contract


• Pay: higher pay for travelers who are 50 or more miles away from the facility!
