Ro Health is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team at a correctional facility in Gallup, NM. This role focuses on delivering high-quality nursing care to incarcerated patients, ensuring safety, hygiene, and therapeutic support within the facility.

The position features 12-hour shifts, a minimum schedule of 3 days per week, and weekend availability. Travelers benefit from higher pay for distances over 50 miles, along with comprehensive benefits and 24/7 support.

Qualifications

• Active New Mexico RN license (or compact) in good standing.
• BLS Certification from the American Heart Association.
• Ability to pass a strict background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care, including assessments, medication administration, and treatments.
• Monitor and document patients’ health status and respond to medical emergencies.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Educate patients on health conditions, medication adherence, and preventive care.
• Assist with wound care, IV therapy, and chronic disease management.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies, safety protocols, and infection control standards.
• Supervise and support LVNs, CNAs, and other healthcare staff.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in accordance with facility guidelines.
