Lifepoint Health's Sovah Health - Danville is seeking a Resource Nurse for the Med Surg/Post Op unit. The RN will coordinate admissions, maintain bed ahead designations in TeleTracking, and deliver clinical education to staff on a 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday schedule.

Candidates should hold an RN license for VA or a compact state and possess an associate degree in nursing; a Bachelor's degree is preferred. Compensation includes a $20,000 sign-on bonus and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Current RN VA or compact state license.
• Associate degree in nursing required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1–2 years nursing experience, Med/Surg or Surgery preferred.

Responsabilités

• Serve as primary admission nurse for assigned unit; focus on medication reconciliation.
• Manage bed ahead designation in TeleTracking to expedite admissions.
• Communicate care plans and update patient boards at admission.
• Collaborate with unit leadership to address barriers to discharge and throughput.
• Provide clinical education and validate competencies for assigned staff.
