Job summary

Sovah Health - Danville is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Medical/Surgical Day shifts (7A-7P) in an in-person setting. Eligible for a $20,000 sign-on bonus and a 3-shift weekly schedule on a 12-hour cadence.

Join a 24-bed unit with a 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio and a supportive team culture. VA license required; ADN is needed, BSN preferred; must have BLS. Hourly range posted; strong benefits and growth opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Current VA or compact state RN license is required.
• Associate's degree in nursing required; bachelor's preferred.
• Experience in acute care medical-surgical units is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Performs plan of care interventions including medication administration and clinical treatments.
• Documents patient care and monitors patient condition; communicates with care team, physician, patient, and family.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Coordinates patient care during transfers, discharges, referrals, and support needs.
• Provides patient and family education appropriate to age and culture.
