Job summary

Kettering Health Beavercreek is hiring an RN to provide patient-centered nursing care on the Resource 480 24 shift. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care in collaboration with the healthcare team, ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.

Ideal candidates hold an ADN or BSN, possess Ohio RN licensure, and have BLS certs (ACLS preferred). Clinical experience in acute care is valued, with focus on safe med administration and interdisciplinary teamwork.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (associate degree in nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing).
• Current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Ohio.
• BLS certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Preferred: BSN.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ physical, psychosocial, and educational needs.
• Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments safely per orders.
• Document care in the electronic health record (EHR).
• Educate patients and families on health conditions and care plans.
• Monitor patient responses and adjust plans to achieve outcomes.
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams to coordinate patient care.
