Job summary

Kettering Health Soin in Beavercreek is hiring a Registered Nurse for full-time day shifts. The RN will provide comprehensive nursing care in collaboration with the health care team, following the nursing process and contributing to patient advocacy and safety.

The role requires Ohio RN licensure, BSN preferred (completed within 5 years), and relevant certifications (BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS) as determined by unit scope. Professional development is expected and supported within KH Network guidelines.

Qualifications

• Licensed in the state of Ohio as a Registered Nurse.
• BSN preferred (must be completed within 5 years of hire).
• New graduates should have NLN, ACEN, or CCNE accreditation.
• A refresher course may be required for nurses returning after 5+ years.

Responsibilities

• The RN utilizes the nursing process to provide nursing care to patients in all settings in collaboration with other health care providers.
• The RN is accountable for her/his own professional development and practice within the scope of care defined by law.
• Utilizing organizational resources, the RN acts as a patient advocate for safe care, including delegation of care and participation in performance and practice improvement activities.
• Delivery of nursing care within the Kettering Health Network reflects the missions, vision, values, and philosophies of the organization and nursing departments.
