Job summary

Signature HealthCARE in Chapel Hill, NC is seeking a PRN RN to join our 108-bed facility. You will provide direct nursing care, manage medications, and support residents with daily activities, always prioritizing dignity and safety.

This role offers flexible hours and opportunities to collaborate with a dedicated interdisciplinary team. Ideal candidates hold an active RN license in North Carolina, CPR/BLS, and at least one year in clinical nursing, with supervisory experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of practice.
• Experience with EHR systems and clinical documentation.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Knowledge of long-term care regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents, including medication administration and wound care.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) while ensuring comfort, dignity, and safety.
• Supervise and direct nursing assistants and medication aides.
• Monitor residents’ status and report changes to attending physician.
• Develop, implement, and review individualized resident care plans with the team.
• Complete accurate clinical documentation per policy.
• Coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Participate in quality assurance activities and staff education.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing.
